We captured this 60-minute loop during a stay atop the sandy bluffs of a remote island in the Strait of Georgia.

A few steps back from the edge of the cliffs, protected from the steady coastal wind, the sound of the ocean below became a soft and consistent wall of sound.

As night fell, a chorus of crickets began.
