Ayhus Low Tide
Recorded August 2021 • 1.5 hours (dusk)We recorded this 90-minute loop during a calm summer night on a remote island in the Strait of Georgia.
At sunset, we descended from the cliffs and listened to the sounds of the shoreline. As high tide approached, we heard prominent Killdeer calls and subtle crickets singing above the lapping of ocean waves.
Listening notes: Gentle waves and high-frequency birds. Good for meditive focus and sleep.
